Why from a far? Because I don't think I can afford to stay there. So I can only look from a far.

Fountain of Wealth, Suntec City
Fountain of Wealth, Suntec City. Viewed from one of the business towers at Suntec City.
It used to be the largest fountain in the world. But I am not quite sure if it still is.
Posted a similar photo from ground view some time ago here.

Golden Bridge at Shenton Way
I think it might be one of the ugliest structure on Shenton Way. lol...
It's a bridge over Shenton Way that has mini eating stalls inside.
Anyone know why it's called Golden Bridge? It's not golden at all?

National Stadium....
Took this photo from the 17th floor of one of the tower block in Suntec City.
That's the National Stadium that's suppose to be demolished.
Few year's time, this whole area will be totally different. A new Sports Hub will be here.

74 75 76...
Was standing on the platform of the Tanah Merah MRT Interchange. Saw 3 big numbers on the wall of the housing blocks.
Those numbers are so huge!
Do you realise that they are two floors high? Look carefully.

NUS Arts Festival Banner
I think these banners are so eye catching.
Especially the ones that are vertical. There are many more designs. The one with the man blowing the morning glory horn is the one I like most.

Chang's Swallow Restaurant
I was having lunch and decided to look up. I have not seen sign boards like this for a long time. Look at the two things that's holding the signboard up. It must be so antique!
No, this place does not sell anything with swallow. Anyone know the history?

Most probably the most photographed sign in Singapore
Some said that this sign has been here since 1910s. If it's true, that's a long long time ago. I am sure many many of you have taken a photo of this sign too.

Paris DP meets KL DP in Singapore
This blog is part of an International Group of people who post daily (or almost daily) a photo of the city they are living in. (yes, we wonder why we do it....)
In Singapore, there 3 of us doing it:
Keropokman - http://keropokman.blogspot.com/
Zannnie/Neo - http://www.singaporedailyphoto.com/
Übersee - http://www.uebersee.com.sg/
This Daily Photo thingy was started by Eric of Paris Daily Photo - www.parisdailyphoto.com
Last Saturday morning, it was very very very early morning, I happen to read my email and found out from Michael and Eric are here. They are here in transit to New Zealand and they have a few hours to spare. Would I want to meet up? Sure!
I sms Edwin from Kuala Lumpur Daily Photo because I know he's based in Singapore to perform. No reply... he most probably is sleeping like everyone else. But when he woke up, he called me and we arranged to meet.
This is Edwin and Eric posing in front of the poster of the show Edwin's performing in. I watched it on Sunday and it was quite good. If you are in Singapore you should catch it. Eric's finger is pointing at the sign that says, "For Adults and Big Children over 16 only". :-)
Find out more about Sleepless Town by going over to www.sleepless-town.com It's running till 14 March 2009 at the Drama Centre.
